American golfer, Tiger Woods, 33, was in a car accident on Friday, November 27 at about 2:20 a.m. He was hospitalized in Ocoee, Fla. Tiger’s rep explains he was only in a “minor” accident and was “admitted, treated, and released” from the hospital the same day. The accident occurred right outside his home in the gated community of Islesworth in Windermere, Fla. Tiger hit a fire hydrant and tree on his neighbor’s property in his 2009 Cadillac SUV. Fortunately, there were no passengers in the car with him.

According to Windermere Police Chief, Daniel Saylor, Tiger’s wife, Elin Nordegren, used a golf club to break the back window to help Tiger escape from his car. She told officers that she heard the accident from inside her house and ran outside to help her husband. Saylor said Tiger was in and out of consciousness and had blood in his mouth and cuts on his lips when officers first arrived at the scene. Furthermore, several law enforcement sources explained to TMZ that Tiger’s accident immediately followed an argument he had with his wife. Both Tiger and Elin told authorities that a dispute between them had occurred. The conflict was described by a Florida law enforcement official as simply “a domestic issue.”

On the other hand, there is a great deal of suspicion over whether Tiger and Elin are telling the truth. Tmz.com explains that Tiger’s wife told the Florida Highway Patrol she was looking for Tiger in a golf cart, discovered the accident, and used a golf club to break the back window of the car. This is very different from her story to the Windere Police Department, in which she never mentions a golf cart. Additionally, there was no blood on Tiger’s steeling wheel, making it highly unlikely that he was injured during the car crash.

TMZ reports that Tiger had a phone conversation with his friend in which he explained the argument between him and his wife in a completely different manner. He said Elin confronted him about rumors that he had been cheating on her with a New York club hostess, Rachel Uchitel, in the National Enquirer, and then scratched his face. Tiger left the house and got into his car, but Elin followed with a golf club and proceeded to smash his vehicle several times as he tried to drive away. He thought his car was stopped when he looked to see what happened, but it was not, and he hit a fire hydrant and tree. Tiger also told his friend that he was taking prescription pain medication for an injury, which could explain why he seemed so confused and out of it at the scene of the accident.

According to people.com, Tiger wrote on his website: “The only person responsible for the accident is me. My wife, Elin, acted courageously when she saw I was hurt and in trouble. She was the first person to help me. Any other assertion is absolutely false.” Sources tell TMZ that the Florida Highway Patrol is trying to obtain a search warrent, which would enable them to view Tiger’s hospitatal medical records, in order to determine if his injuries were really caused by a car accident or if they were from domestic violence. If the highway patrol verifies his wounds were caused by Elin, she may be arrested for domestic violence.

Fortunately Tiger is alright! The whole situation does seem a little fishy with Elin changing her story, no blood on the steering wheel, and Tiger’s alleged phone conversation with his friend. I guess we’ll just have to wait and see what happens because more and more new information is quickly being revealed. Celebrity gossip and news sites can’t update their stories fast enough.

On Sunday, November 22, Adam Lambert, 27, the runner up of the last season of American Idol, performed during the American Music Awards (AMAs) broadcast on ABC. His performance of the song, Adam Lambert’s AMA performance of “For Your Entertainment” has been the hot topic of controversy since the AMAs because it included extremely sexual choreography and a french kiss with one of his male band members. ABC received over 1,500 complaints about Adam’s performance and was forced to cancel his Wednesday, November 25 scheduled performance on Good Morning America. A rep for the show explained to TV Newser: “Given his controversial live performance on the AMAs we were concerned about airing a similar concert so early in the morning.”

Instead, Adam toned down his performance on CBS’s The Early Show and the Late Show With David Letterman. In an interview during The Early Show, Adam explains that the sexual dance moves were impromptu and not rehearsed. He admits that he felt an adrenaline rush and is proud that he did get a little carried away during his performance. Furthermore, CBS blurred a clip of Adam’s kiss, but minutes later an uncensored clip of Madonna and Britney Spears kissing at the MTV Video Music Awards in 2003 was shown. According to CBS, “The Madonna image is very familiar and has appeared countless times, including many times on morning TV. The Adam Lambert image is a subject of great current controversy, has not been nearly as widely disseminated, and for all we know, may still lead to legal consequences.”

Adam states during an interview with Ryan Seacrest, “I don’t feel like I owe anyone an apology for anything. I performed, it was late night TV, I did something that female performers have been doing for years, no different. It’s just the fact that I’m me and it’s a little different for people. It’s really not that big of a deal.”

According to people.com, Adam continues to receive a great deal of support from his fans. The trending topic, #shameonYouABC has been a popular topic since the ABC canceled his performance on Good Morning America, and fans are accusing the network of discrimination and homophobia.

It’s very sad that people are still so closed minded. I’m sorry, but I have better things to do than file a complaint to ABC about a music artist’s performance. Anyway, if you watch the video of Adam’s AMA performance below, you will see that the kiss (at 3:40) isn’t even bad at all. It only lasts about three seconds. People need to stop worrying about other people’s lives and focus on their own.

Lindsay and Michael Lohan

I wanted to write another blog post about Lindsay Lohan because I realize I shouldn’t have sided with her father, Michael Lohan, in my previous post. After reading more recent celebrity news, as well as Lindsay’s Twitter posts, I’ve come to the realization that Michael is definitely in the wrong.

The following list provides my reasons why I believe Michael is, as Lindsay describes him, a “lunatic.”

1. He claimed to New York’s Daily News that Entertainment Tonight would air recorded conversations (which he gave the TV show) of himself and Lindsay’s mother, Dina Lohan, talking about Lindsay’s well-being (“Lindsay Lohan Describes Her Father as a Lunatic”). Complete invasion of privacy #1!

2. Michael released a tape recording of Lindsay crying and saying “No one cares about me,” to Radar Online (“Lindsay Lohan Stands Up to Her Father”). Complete invasion of privacy #2!

3. He secretly taped conversations he had with Lindsay’s former assistant, Jenni Muro. The tapes were “heavily edited and taken out of context,” according to Muro. Muro also states that Michael’s recent behavior is “way beyond low (“Lindsay’s Former Mgr: Michael Way Beyond Low”).”

4. Michael wasn’t illegally allowed to be on the phone calls anyway, so he pretty much screwed himself over by releasing the tapes. According to tmz.com, Dina obtained a protective order in 2005, which prohibits him from interacting with her through the phone or e-mail until 2011. She has already contacted the district attorney regarding the taped phone conversations, so Michael could potentially face jail time (“Papa Lohan — Leaked Calls Could Mean Prison”).

5. He went on the Maury Povich show on October 27, describing Lindsay as a “hollow person,” claiming there was “nothing left in her,” and explaining that he “couldn’t even look at her.” Michael then justified the horrible things he said about his daughter by exclaiming, “I hate to speak out publicly like this.” Oh, and by the way, the October 27 Maury show was called “You’re 14… Stop Lap Dancing and Trying to Get Pregnant (“Lindsay’s Dad Makes Desperate Plea — To Maury?”).”  

Michael Lohan assures that the releasing of the tapes is a way of pressuring Lindsay to seek addiction treatment (“Lindsay Lohan’s Dad Says God is Punishing Her”). Some celebrity news sites are even saying that he tried to sell the tapes for $100,000, although he claims he didn’t (“Michael Lohan is a Low Life – He Tried to Sell Lindsay’s Phone Chats” and “Michael Lohan Would Like to Save His Daughter, and He’d Like to Make $100,000 Doing It”). In my opinion, Michael is totally invading Lindsay’s privacy by releasing these personal conversations that are really none of anyone else’s business. This guy’s obviously a little out of touch with reality, especially after talking on a Maury show titled “You’re 14… Stop Lap Dancing and Trying to Get Pregnant.” I’m sure he really got his message out to Lindsay! 

The latest news is that Lindsay is trying to get a restraining order against her father. Her lawyer, Shawn Chapman Holley, tells TMZ that she could file a defamation lawsuit on Lindsay’s behalf and she’s also trying to determine whether Michael violated Dina’s protective order (“Lindsay Tells Lawyer: Muzzle My Dad!”).

Rihanna and Chris Brown

On Thursday and Friday, November 6 and 7, the talented singer and songwriter, Rihanna (Robin Fenty), spoke about the February 7 fight she had with her then-boyfriend, Chris Brown, during interviews with Diane Sawyer on ABC’s Good Morning America and 20/20. She described many of the brutal details of the incident that were sparked by a text message received by Chris. She said during the beating, Chris “had no soul in his eyes,” and “he was clearly blacked-out.” Rihanna felt obligated to speak about her experience with domestic violence because she realized she is viewed as a role model by many young girls. “I just didn’t realize how much of an impact I had on these girls lives until that happened. It was a wake up call for me big time,” she explains during the Good Morning America interview (“Rihanna: I Went Back to Chris”).

Chris isn’t very happy that Rihanna is providing the world with all the graphic details of the horrible crime he committed. In a statement to MTV, he said “I maintain my position that all of the details should remain a private matter between us (Chris Brown: Rihanna Beating a Private Matter” and “Brown Discusses Rihanna Assault”).” Chris addressed the beating which led him to plead guilty to a felony assault charge in an interview that aired Friday, November 6 on MTV. He explained that he is now in group therapy. When asked by the interviewer, Sway, what caused him to hurt Rihanna, he replied, “Just anger… Yeah, anger… Young people, we do before we think (Chris Brown Discusses Rihanna Assault).” According to people.com, a judge has ruled that Chris cannot contact Rihanna for five years.

In my opinion, it is completely ridiculous that Chris thinks Rihanna should have kept the details of the fight to herself. Rihanna has all the right in the world to say whatever she wants to whoever she wants about the beating! Maybe Chris deserves to spend some time in jail, instead of just doing some community service… he obviously doesn’t understand the severity of the situation.

Rihanna also feels ashamed that she had even been in a relationship with Chris in the first place. “I fell in love with this person. That’s embarrassing,” she tells Diane Sawyer during Good Morning America. Rihanna explains that she became even more humiliated when a photo of her battered and bruised face leaked on the internet (People.com—“Rihanna Embarrassed by Falling in Love with Chris Brown” and TMZ.com—“Rihanna Embarrassed by Falling in Love with Chris Brown”).

On the other hand, some people are criticizing Rihanna’s timing in coming out with the interviews. Her album will be released on November 23, she’s on the cover of Glamour Magazine’s Woman of the Year issue, and concert announcements have started to be made public. Therefore, people are saying something doesn’t quite add up. They think she’s trying to promote her new album and ruin Chris’s career by doing the interviews (“Rihanna Slammed Over ABC, Glamour, and Role Model Claims”).

Rihanna has every right to talk about the beating and if she wants to talk about it right before her album’s released, then she also has every right to do so. She definitely shouldn’t feel embarrassed that she was in the relationship with Chris because she didn’t know he would turn into such a violent person. And as for ruining Chris’s career… he did it to himself! People need to shut their mouths about Rihanna’s timing and instead focus on the fact that she was a victim of domestic violence. She should be respected for being brave enough to speak out against it and reveal her experience to the world.

"Hollywood Hills Burglar Bunch Member," Nick Prugo

According to a search warrant affidavit released out of Las Vegas, Nick Prugo confessed that he burglarized celebrities’ homes and ratted out all the other members of the “Hollywood Burglar Bunch”—Rachel Lee, Diana Tamayo, Alexis Neiers, Courtney Ames, Jonathan Ajar, and Roy Lopez. In the affidavit, Prugo admitted to committing all of the burglaries and that Rachel Lee was his accomplice during the break-ins of the homes of Orlando Bloom, Rachel Bilson, Lindsay Lohan, Paris Hilton, and Audrina Patridge. Prugo also claimed that Lee was the mastermind of the “Hollywood Burglar Bunch” and “her motivation was based in her desire to own the designer wardrobes of the Hollywood celebrities that she admired.” Prugo told police that Lee would suggest a target and then he would search the internet to locate the celebrity’s home and for his or her travel itinerary. Also according to the affidavit, Prugo said that Lee’s father knew about their illegal activities and gave them the following recommendations on how to prevent themselves from getting arrested: “Bury the stolen property in the Nevada desert and or Prugo to join the military (“Affidavit: Burglary Suspect Ratted on the Rest” and “Police: LA Celebrity Burglaries Led By 19-Year-Old”).” Thanks for the advice, Dad!

Even the celebrities are now lashing out at the “Hollywood Hills Burglar Bunch” members. Paris Hilton announced she hated them, called them “dirty rotten thieves” and “scumbags,” and when asked by the paparazzi how much jail time the burglars should get, Paris replied 10 years. When the paparazzi asked Audrina Patridge if she was happy the thieves got caught, she said she was definitely happy and, being a little less harsh than Paris, “they’re going to have to face the consequences (“Paris on Burglar Bunch: ‘I Hate Them’” and “Paris Lashes Out at ‘Scumbags’”).”  

I’m interested to see what really happens to all these kids. There’s usually at least one new development to the story every day on tmz.com, people.com, and other sites. I also feel like these kids love all the media time they’re getting. I mean, they’re basically becoming celebrities themselves (in a bad way, of course). They’re on the news and every celebrity site on the internet. Maybe we all just need to stop writing about them and then they’ll truly get what they deserve!

Throughout the past year, a group of teenagers has burglarized several celebrity homes, including those owned by Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan, Audrina Patridge, and Orlando Bloom. The “Hollywood Hills Burglar Bunch” stole everything from jewelry to electronics from the stars’ estates. The thieves were arrested on Thursday, October 22. The burglars include Courtney Ames, 18, Alexis Neiers, aka Alexis Taylor, 18, Roy Lopez, 27, Nick Prugo, 18, and Diana Tamayo, 19 (“5^th Burglar Bunch Suspect Arrested”). The supposed mastermind of the stealing spree, Rachel Lee, 19, is currently out of jail on bail as of the night of Friday, October 23. Lee claims she did not take part in the burglaries. Why then, did police impound a variety of items, including two laptop computers, jeans linked to Rachel Bilson, and a hat linked to Lindsay Lohan, from her father’s house in Las Vegas, Nevada? According to tmz.com, police also found firearms and drugs during their searches. Ames and Neiers have been released from jail on a $50,000 bail each (“Third Burglary Suspect Identified – 2 Bail Out”). Thanks, Mom and Dad!

People.com states that the group used Hollywood star maps and the internet to locate the celebrities’ houses and determined when they weren’t going to be at home based on their appearance schedules. Furthermore, authorities found incriminating evidence on a most-likely stolen computer from Nick Prugo, including two Google searches for “Paris Hilton Diamond Watch” and “Audrina Patridge Diamond Watch,” which proved the group was looking to steal expensive items from celebrities’ homes (“Paris Hilton: Diamonds are Burglar’s Best Friend” and “Audrina Patridge Watched by Burglar Bunch”).

People.com describes both Rachel Lee and Diana Tamayo as hard-working students, although they did attend an alternative high school for at-risk individuals. Lee received a creative arts scholarship, while Tamayo was the student body president and was awarded with a “Future Teacher” scholarship for $1,500. About a year after the girls graduated, in August 2009, they were arrested for stealing $85 worth of cosmetics at a Sephora beauty store, although they only spent one day in jail. They did have to pay some fines and were sentenced to a year of probation (“INSIDE STORY: From High School Students to Celebrity Burglars” and “Burglary Suspects –No Strangers to Stealing”).

In a tmz.com article titled “Suspect Throws Burglar Bunch Under the Bus,” Alexis Neiers told TMZ that Nick Prugo was involved in all of the burglaries and Rachel Lee was his main accomplice. Diana Tamayo then became involved, while Roy Lopez was the person who sold the celebrity belongings after they were stolen. According to Neiers, Courtney Ames was only arrested because she was friends with Lopez. Neiers ended the interview with TMZ by describing how she got involved in the investigation. “The only reason they came to my house was because they thought I was holding property for Nick. They even searched my house and found nothing. I’m innocent in all of this and feel terrible for the people who got robbed.”

I hope these kids get what they deserve—jail time—for stealing from these celebrities’ homes. Even though the celebs have a lot of expensive belongings, they work very hard for their money. The teenagers involved in this scandal need to get a hold on their lives—after they go to jail for a while, of course. I can’t believe they actually thought they would get away with something like this, but then again, I can’t believe they got away with it for an entire year. Well, fortunately for Paris and friends, at least some of their belongings have been returned and they can feel safe that the “Hollywood Hills Burglar Bunch” is under close watch by the police.

On a side note, tmz.com recently posted an article with a video of Nick Prugo smoking out of a pipe, while dancing to a rap song, which was found on a webcam video from a computer police believe to be stolen. It’s extremely funny (“Burglar Bunch Boy Weeds Himself Out”)!

On Friday, October 16, Lindsay Lohan was in court for the review of her two DUIs, which occurred in May and August of 2007. According to people.com, a law enforcement source stated, “It’s not that Lohan failed a drug test or anything, but it’s an issue with her alcohol education program (“Lindsay Lohan Ordered to Court for DUI Matter”).” Apparently Lindsay has not attended all of her required alcohol education classes. Instead, she has finished “15 of 26 individual alcohol classes, 13 of 26 group alcohol classes, and 13 of 28 self-help sessions. She completed all six education classes,” affirms tmz.com (“Lindsay Lohan — Justice Delayed is Sweet Justice”). During the court hearing in Beverly Hills, California, Lindsay’s lawyer, Shawn Chapman Holley, explained that Lindsay has been very busy with a variety of work commitments, such as filming a movie in Texas and working on her own clothing and jewelry line. Therefore, Lindsay had not been able to complete all the classes. Fortunately for Lindsay, the judge ruled to extend her probation for another year in order for her to finish them.

According to radaronline.com, Michael Lohan, Lindsay’s father, thinks the judge should have sent Lindsay to rehab. In an interview with radaronline.com, Michael revealed, “I’ve just gotten off the phone with the judge and I’m not happy. She needs to put my daughter in rehab. How could that judge have let her just walk in to court and walk right back out? The least they could have done was give her a drug test at the door (“Exclusive Interview: Michael Lohan Says Judge ‘Should Have Put Lindsay in Rehab’ ”).”A source that was present in the courtroom said Lindsay’s eyes were blood shot and she was extremely skinny. Furthermore, Lindsay didn’t utter a word during the entire hearing, allowing her lawyer to do all the talking. On the other hand, Lindsay’s mother, Dina Lohan criticizes her ex husband for talking to the public about Lindsay’s problems, claiming he “made things up” and “he is estranged from Lindsay; he doesn’t know what’s going on in her life (“Mom: Lindsay Lohan is a ‘Genius’ ”).”

Well, I think Lindsay’s father may be right if the pictures really depict  Lindsay’s current state. She lucked out this time and she needs to be careful because, according to the prosecutor from the October 16 hearing, “if the court has to jump through hoops again to accommodate Lindsay,” she will be sent to jail. It’s so sad to see her go down such a horrible path. I hope she’ll straighten her life out. I remember when I was younger, watching her in movies like the Parent Trap and Freaky Friday. I miss the old Lindsay!

TLC announced that Jon Gosselin was being dropped from the show, Jon & Kate Plus Eight, on Tuesday, September 29. He retaliated by saying he wanted to completely stop the show because it was “damaging his children.” Jon said he realized this when he “had an epiphany (“Report: Jon Gosselin Takes Money from Kate’s Bank Account”).”

Jon and Kate’s divorce battle recently increased in intensity when Kate claimed that Jon stole $230,000 from their joint bank account, leaving her with a mere $1,000 to pay the bills and take care of their kids. By doing so, Jon violated a court order, or arbitration award, that required each of them to get permission from the other before withdrawing any money. Kate’s lawyer, Marty Singer, criticizes Jon and his lawyer, Mark Heller, calling them “hypocrites” because, when they spoke on the Larry King Show, they emphasized the importance of family values over money (“Kate’s Lawyer: Jon & His Lawyer are Frauds”).

But, according to tmz.com, Jon completely denies stealing any of the money (“Jon Gosselin — I’m No Thief” ”).” An article titled “Jon Gosselin Claims Kate’s ‘Hiding Money’ ” by Michael Y. Park from people.com describes Jon’s response to his estranged wife’s claim that he withdrew the large sum of money from their bank account. Jon told The Insider on Monday, October 5, that the claim is “a total fabrication. I withdrew $22,000 last Thursday. I have the paper to trail to prove it.” Jon believes that Kate is hiding money. He questions the location of the million dollars she made for her best-selling book, Eight Little Faces (“Jon Gosselin Claims Kate’s ‘Hiding Money’ ”).

How could anyone believe anything that came out the mouth of a man who had a new girlfriend before he was even divorced! In my opinion, neither Kate nor Jon are very good parents. Although the show is providing the family with money, you have to wonder what this whole fiasco is doing to the children’s mental states. Watching their parents fight in front of them and on the television, and having cameramen watching their every move must be very stressful for the eight. I hope both Jon and Kate can turn their lives around for the sake of their kids!

Khloe and Lamar's Wedding

Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom did tie the knot this past Sunday, September 27. The wedding was held at the home of Irving Azoff, a music mogul and Kardashian family friend, in L.A. 250 guests, including Kobe Bryant and Sharon Osbourne, attended the ceremony. Their post-wedding reception, at which Babyface sang, was nightclub-themed (“Khloe Kardashian is Married!” and “All the Kardashian Wedding Deets”). According to people.com, Khloe wrote, “I’ve never been so happy and I just wanted to take this opportunity to thank you for all the love and support I’ve received,” in her blog (“Newlywed Khloe Kardashian: I’ve Never Been So Happy”).  

But, as explained in an article titled “Lamar and Khloe Livin’ in Sin!” from tmz.com, Khloe and Lamar are not yet legally married. The couple is trying to organize a prenuptial agreement and, after they do so, they will tie the knot legally.

Why couldn’t Khloe and Lamar have just waited until they arranged the prenup to get married? Well, the Kardasian family’s reality show, Keeping up With the Kardashians, paid the $1 million bill for the wedding, but it had to be held on Sunday. Furthermore, according to tmz.com, almost everything was staged during the wedding. In the tmz.com video below the article titled “Khloe’s Wedding — ‘I Do’ Need a Script,” you can hear show producers on walkie-talkies, choreographing everything Khloe does during the wedding, down to the number of steps she takes. In opposition to rumors on tmz.com and other celebrity gossip websites, Kim Kardashian, Khloe’s older sister, claims the gossip is false. “I really hate all the crazy things I have been hearing regarding their wedding not being real. That is just crazy and untrue,” Kim wrote in her blog. I’m not sure if Khloe’s in it for the publicity or if the marriage is genuine. Only time will tell…

In a video posted on tmz.com, Lamar Odom explains that a marriage is based on “faith” and “trust.” (“Lamar Odom – You Got to Have Faith”). A prenup definitely screams faith and trust, don’t you think? Although Lamar does make a good point when, in the same video, he says “People get divorced after being married for 18 years… you never know.” Additionally, a commenter on hollyscoop.com is correct when she defends Khloe and Lamar by explaining that most celebrities do sign a prenuptial agreement. According to wedding-planning.suite101.com, a couple should consider signing a prenup if they own a home and/or property, or have a high-paying job. So maybe it’s the most responsibly thing for Khloe and Lamar to do, considering they’ve only known each other for a month. Well, I guess we’ll just have to wait and see if their marriage works out.

Unfortunately, Khloe and Lamar will have to postpone their honeymoon because Lamar  is at training camp for the upcoming basketball season. Maybe when they do finally get to go on the honeymoon it will be taped for their new show. I say this, because, when Ryan Seacrest was asked if he would ever consider producing a show about Khloe and Lamar’s life as a married couple, he replied, “I’m seriously thinking about it (“Khloe Kardashian is Married!”).”

Reality star, Khloe Kardashian and L.A. Lakers forward, Lamar Odom are set to get married in Los Angeles this Sunday, September 27, which is only one month after the couple met. Their bachelorette and bachelor parties were held last night, Thursday, September 24. While people.com describes Khloe’s celebration at Santa Monica’s Viceroy hotel as a quiet get-together with a few friends, tmz.com hints that some craziness did go on during her party. Tmz.com posted a picture of Khloe driving home from the bachelorette party with a bag of goodies, including a leather whip (“Khloe Kardashian — Whip It Good”). Lamar’s bachelor party was originally going to be hosted by Joe Francis, the producer of Girls Gone Wild. Fortunately for Khloe though, Lamar cancelled the celebration and decided to toast to his last single days with a modest get-together at the Guys and Dolls Lounge in West Hollywood (“Khloe and Lamar Celebrate with Bachelorette and Bachelor Bashes”).

So, what’s Khloe and Lamar’s rush to get married? According to Jennifer Garcia and Ulrica Wihlborg from people.com, one source says, “It creates a lot of buzz that the wedding is being planned and happening within such a short period of time. It’s going to make for huge ratings, and Khloe and Lamar are sure about everything, so they all figured, Why not?!” Another source states, “It’s happening so quickly because of the show [Keeping up With the Khardasians]. They want to create some drama for the cameras. Meetings and decisions are being delayed to the last minute (“Khloe and Lamar: Why Rush to the Altar?”).”

Maybe Khloe’s just trying to get into the spotlight like her sisters, Kourtney and Kim, as one commenter on perezhilton.com believes. Well, in my opinion, “creating drama for the cameras” doesn’t “create” a healthy and long-lasting marriage. Maybe Khloe and Lamar are “sure about everything” right now, but they barely know each other. Just wait until they moved in together…

According to tmz.com and perezhilton.com, Khloe and Lamar are now house hunting for a mansion between 8,000 and 10,000 square feet. They want five to six bedrooms, a pool, and room to build a basketball court (“Lamar and Khloe Play House — Big House” and “Lamar and Khloe House Hunting!). It’s a good thing they’re buying such an enormous house, so, just in case they decide they don’t really like each other, they can hide in separate rooms!

I will end with a little personal story about my experience with marriage after knowing someone for a very short period of time. A girl I used to work with married a guy she knew for only a month and a half. Well, she stopped working with me, but the next time I saw her, she was pregnant with her husband’s baby, but dating her new manager. So hopefully this marriage thing will work for Khloe and Lamar, but my advice to them would be to wait to get married until they know each other better.

On a side note, tmz.com has just posted an article called “The Woman Lamar Odom Didn’t Marry.” Lamar dated Liza Morales, who is the mother of his children, for ten years. And he’s known Khloe for less than a month and they’re getting married. I hope it works out for them!
